Read the Entire Bible in 2013!

There are some great resources available at your local Christian book store that can help you read through the Bible in a year, including Bibles that are already broken down into a daily reading plan.  If you are not able or wanting to purchase a new book or Bible, however, there  are some great resources available online that can help you tackle that New Years resolution!

1. YouVersion

YouVersion is a free Bible application you can use on your smartphone, tablet, or computer.  It was created by Life Church, and unlike other free apps, there are no ads.  They are not looking to make money, they are only looking to make the Bible as accessible as possible.  The app is very user friendly, and has a ton of reading plans you can choose, from the Bible in a year to topical studies.  This is our top recommendation.

2. Own it 365

Own it 365 is a project from a Grace Church in Kansas that offers some easy to follow reading plans for the entire Bible or specific books.  They connect to YouVersion, but have their own app as well.

3. The Online Parallel Bible

The Online Parallel Bible is a fantastic resource for looking at scriptures in different translations, as well as cross references.  It is great for on the fly Bible searching and reserching.  They also have a daily plan to read through the Bible in a year in whichever translations you choose.
