Harvest Festivals

There are many great alternatives to Halloween and trick-or-treating in the Central Valley. Below is a list of some of the Harvest and Fall festivals going on this upcoming weekend and 31st.

Calvary Chapel Bakersfield (Westbrook) – Light the Night – Monday – 10/31 – 5-8pm – 6501 Schirra Ct 93313- food, free games and candy, concert, inflatables, cake walk, chili cookoff, pumpkin carving and more!!!! Bring your friends and family for fun!

Community Christian Fellowship (Taft)

Compassion Christian Center & Concerned Leaders of the Community are holding a Community Harvest Festival from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at Lowell Park (4th & P St.) Bakersfield. Games booths, food, candy, music and more. FREE event!! Oct 31

The Connection – All Out Fall Out- 7220 Rosedale Hwy. 5-9 p.m.- $10. Deep pit dinner- free hot dogs for kids- also benefiting NW Christian Schools!! Prizes & tons of FUN!!

Crossover Church of Rosedale is holding their annual Harvest Festival on October 31 from 5:30 – 7:30pm.  All games are FREE!  There will be free candy and prizes for children.  There will also be lots of carnival style games, pony ride, hayrides, face painting and cake walk.  Food available.  Costumes are welcome, but not required.  The Church is located at 18210 Rosedale Hwy, just west of Nord Road.

First Presbyterian Church of Bakersfield.  5:30-7:30pm  1705 17th St, Bakersfield. Games, fun, jumpers, food, candy, and more!

Grace Baptist Church – ‘Unexpected’ Walk-through drama.  October 28-30, starting at 6pm each evening.  2550 Jewetta Ave, directly across from Talidega Frights.  Bakersfield Reserve a time for your group by calling  661.589.0424  Cost is $3 suggested donation

Heritage Bible Church Fall-Le-Luiah! Oct 31, 5:30 to 8 PM, costumed kids and adults welcome, bounce house, games, food, candy and fun indoors! At the Heritage Bible Church gym, 2401 Bernard St, free admission.

Laurelglen Bible Church -Ashe Bash- Monday, October 31. 6pm-9pm. 2801 Ashe Road
Bakersfield, CA 93309 Free food- games- hay maze- bounce houses – cake walk-and trunk or treating for all the candy. Free.

The Oaks Community Church Harvest Festival. October 31 6 to 8:30 pm. 10200 Campus Park Dr.

Oasis Christian Center Sunday, October 30. Church starts at 9:30 am, followed by Trunk or treat, cake walks, games, hot dogs and other goodies. All free!

Olive Drive Church Family Fun Night at 6 to 9pm. Includes hayrides, bouncy toys, games, music, lots of yummy food, and it’s all FREE! Lots of candy will be given away.

Ridgeview Community Church  ”Harvest Festival”  October 31st from 5:30-8:30PM   Fun, games, inflatables, food, crafts, and lots of candy.  The event is free, and the food is cheap.  8420 Stine Road, across the street from Ridgeview High School.  For more details,  (661) 836-2256.

St. John’s Lutheran Church G.A.G.S. (Games and Goodies for Souls) October 29, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., FREE, Food available at minimal cost, games for all ages, special game area for those 2 and under, music, cake walk, trunk or treat at Gagsoline Alley, Hay ride, much more! 4500 Buena Vista Road, call 665-7815 for more info!

Valley Baptist (4800 Fruitvale Ave.) Monday, Oct. 31st from 5:30 to 7:30pm. Games, candy, bounce houses, prizes, free food. Lots of fun for the entire family and it’s free!
