Jason Pine
Jason says he feels very blessed to be a part of the KAXL family, and do what he loves after about 7 years out of the Radio Industry. He has worked for many stations up and down the Central Valley of California which include: B-93-1 Modesto, KWIN –Stockton, B-95 in Fresno, and he hosted a morning show in Merced in the late 90’s. Jason most recently worked Full-Time as “Tim Jeffries” at cross-town KLLY 95.3 Bakersfield, and also has a background in television news and production. While Jason has spent many years in Radio at Commercial stations; he feels so blessed to be a part of the ministry here at KAXL. Jason says “there are so many great songs, and talent now in the Contemporary Christian Music Scene, the quality of music is awesome! The record Industry has really embraced Christian music, and God is using the powerful lyrics and strong beats to change lives.” Jason’s Favorite Christian artists are : Jeremy Camp, Toby Mac, Mandisa, Britt Nicole he also loves Steven Curtiss Chapman’s new stuff, and the classics from Petra, and of course Casting Crowns. “I love it that KAXL plays this great music, and then we go to church on Sundays and we sing so many of the same songs!” Jason’s favorite Scripture verse: Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you says the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jason is a graduate of CSU Fresno, is married and has 2 daughters. His favorite thing to do outside of work is spending time with his family, and doing projects around the house.
